Tannin-washed coconut coir from a Thai domestic producer, supplied in 100L bags — ready to use straight out of the bag with no pre-soaking required.
Raw coconut coir naturally contains tannin. When it dissolves in water it forms tannic acid, which reacts with calcium ions to create an insoluble salt, blocking calcium uptake and causing tip and edge burn on young leaves. This coir has been fully washed, salinity reduced, and then dried so that problem is already solved before it reaches you.
